Corner Agden Lane / Moss Lane junction
Reported via mobile in the Weeds category anonymously at 19:04, Thursday 1 May 2025
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7510503.
This was reported last year and was obviously not treated despite your assurances. It is now a metre nearer our cottage . Please deal with it urgently , as we will hold you liable for any depreciation of the value of our cottage if it gets nearer . There are three other plants in the same section of verge towards Millington.
The original plants were reported and sprayed three years ago .. now dead .

Thank you for your enquiry. Following a review on cost and effectiveness of weed spraying, we are not routinely spraying weeds on the highway. Instead, we review requests for treatment of weeds in channels, at the top of kerbs, in footways / alleyways (bordering a wall or fence), footpaths and link paths. As your request does not meet the criteria, no further action will be taken at this time.
We will continue to ensure the location is safe through our routine safety inspections which are conducted in line with our Code of Practice. More information is available on the following link:
