Incomplete work at Congleton Ayrshire Way

Reported via mobile in the Barriers category anonymously at 16:56, Wednesday 23 April 2025

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7471657.

The plans for the pedestrian crossing included bollards across the dntrance to the railway station. The entrance to the railway station has been made less obvious, particularly to the visually impaired and do the bollards are sensible. It also stopped cars pulling out of both the station and Ayrshire Wsy simultaneously. Sensible and safe. However why has this been allowed to be opened before the bollards are not yet put in place? An accident could happen any day so it needs to be fenced off until the job is made safe according to the plans.
