Middle of Stamford Avenue

Reported via desktop in the Carriageway category anonymously at 11:59, Monday 24 March 2025

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7327522.

I can see you have said the issue of the huge dip in the road is because of United Utilities. However, I would argue the road is now unsafe left unmarked. Cheshire East have a responsibility to ensure the road is in a safe condition. Hump signage is now needed, the area needs white paint in road to highlight the hazard, or even the road needs closing until United Utilities have sorted the issue. The dip is very hazardous if you don't know the street especially for motorcycles and bikes, very dangerous at night too. It may be a United Utilities repair issue but it is Cheshire East's responsibility to ensure the road is safe which it is currently not. Either close it, or clearly signage it.
