In middle of road (Chester Rd) at junction with Maxfield Close

Reported via mobile in the Carriageway category by Mike Mitchell at 16:37, Saturday 22 March 2025

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7319936.

The manhole metal cover and frame Has sunken below level of road causing a very loud double screech every time a vehicle goes over the manhole cover, it has become considerably louder in recent months to the point it wakes me up consistently, also meaning it’s getting weaker and getting worse, it’s important to me to urgently get this repaired because I suffer from PTSD from my military active service as part of being physically disabled, I suffer sleeplessness which is considerably worsened due to the road noise from the defective manhole cover
