Corner of Sweettooth Road and Cookesmere Lane

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 19:19, Wednesday 29 January 2025

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7055169.

I reported this pothole about 12months ago as it was particularly dangerous to cyclists. It was eventually repaired however it has reappeared and is just as dangerous as before because the pothole is around a large metal grid. It is also dangerous because many vehicles take a very wide birth to try to avoid it and go onto the wrong side of the road at a very busy junction just before a mini roundabout. The roundabout is often cut by vehicles approaching from Bradwall direction, who are then an obstruction to traffic coming out of Cookesmere Lane. I repeat this is a very dangerous situation that needs to be permanently rectified and NOT just filled in!!!!
