Abnormal load pull out A54 Holmes Chapel Road at its junction with Melton Drive

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7016208.

This issue has been going on for 6 years or more.

The pull in is there for Abnormal Loads to swing out left from Box Lane onto the A54.

It is located within feet of the junction of Melton Drive.

When it is not coned off all manner of vehicles park in there. Some overnight. It completely blocks the view of anyone trying to exit Melton Drive onto a 40mph road.

It had beeb resolved with the installation of fixed bollards. But these didn't last long.

Eventually we had a 5 large cones which have done the job. Sadly they have now gone and the problem has started immediately.

Please please put 5 large cones back across this pull in. It costs virtually nothing and yet results in a far safer environment for everyone but especially us residents who have to edge out across the road before we can see past the obstructive vehicles.
