Flash lane bollington, end of the driveway of the house near the Cock and Pheasant pub.
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 21:26, Wednesday 15 January 2025
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6986603.
The pothole has been present for a while but got deeper after the snow and ice melted. The pothole is deep and difficult to see in the dark or in poor weather. The narrow width of the road makes avoiding the hole impossible if there is oncoming traffic. Returning from a night shift on 10/01/2025 at 07:45 I drove up Flash Lane from the roundabout towards the Cock and Pheasant pub. It was dark, my front passenger side wheel hit the hole which was full of water ( therefore concealing its depth). The tyre deflated immediately. The tyre had to be replaced at a cost of £105.00 on the same day to enable me to get to my next night shift that evening.
