Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6985516.
Huge eruption in the centre of the road measuring 2200mm long x 1000mm wide x 150mm tall from peak to trough. Road surface is breaking up.
Travel this route daily. This eruption poses a huge risk to motorists especially in the dark and the frequently foggy weather.
This same straight damaged my car in July 2022 (see reference report 3714296) further down the hill buckling an alloy wheel of which you were unfortunately unable to compensate me for. I at present have no damage to my vehicle but must report this to protect other motorists.
Please treat this as a serious issue and I would suggest having an engineer look at this whole straight down to the bottom of the hill as the road is rippling down the middle for some length. I would suggest the hillside is washing away under this section of road.
Please feel free to contact me to discuss.
