Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6985125.
The pavement is now impassable as the weeds and earth has grown meaning you have to walk in the road to proceed along the footpath . The earth and weeds are so uneven it’s dangerous to walk on it , consequently I have to walk in the road and dodge the traffic

Thank you for your enquiry. Following a review on cost and effectiveness of weed spraying, we are not routinely spraying weeds on the highway. Instead, we review requests for treatment of weeds in channels, at the top of kerbs, in footways / alleyways (bordering a wall or fence), footpaths and link paths. As your request does not meet the criteria, no further action will be taken at this time.
We will continue to ensure the location is safe through our routine safety inspections which are conducted in line with our Code of Practice. More information is available on the following link:
