Action scheduled
Road has fallen
Reported via desktop in the Carriageway category anonymously at 08:35, Wednesday 15 January 2025
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6981781.
There have been temporary traffic lights here since September 2024 with no action. One Network stated that this was to be the case until 10th January, no action has been taken. As of this morning one side of the carriage way has completely given way and now is likely dangerous for all traffic passing over it. I believe this requires urgent inspection and repair as this is a primary route for many getting to and from High Peak into Macclesfield. Disappointed that the temporary traffic lights have been here for 5 months with no action and now it has come to the road completely falling in. I should note now that these lights are no longer on any online system such as One Network.
