A54 and Hollin Lane

Reported via desktop in the Gritting and Grit Bins category by Tim campling at 06:48, Monday 6 January 2025

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6935698.

Despite clear weather warnings there has been zero gritting of Macclesfields roads as far as I can tell. Certainly there is none on the A54 from Wildboarclough to Macclesfield or Hollin Lane. Can you explain why this has not been done? Is this a funding issue or is it incompetence on behalf of the highways department? I look forward to your reply.
