This longstanding problem is worsening and requires urgent attention! The entire width of the lane has been permanently flooded for the past 5 or 6 weeks and the worsening potholes hidden beneath are also getting worse. It is now quite risky driving through the flood and especially for cyclists who will be forced to dismount and wade through it. It might be worth considering to close the route to cyclists as it is a designated cycle route! It may not be too long before it will also be applied to cars! It is appalling that this problem, after at least 11 years since we moved here, keeps recurring year after year and I hope that a permanent solution can be found very soon. In the meantime, given the current weather, perhaps the water could be pumped away which would at least make the potholes visible.
