Kettle lane, just past oak tree farm entrance, going towards Kinsey Heath left hand side

Reported via mobile in the Flooding category anonymously at 11:02, Thursday 2 January 2025

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6919970.

The farmer has dug a channel from his field, ( not a grip, there is no drain) to use the public road to drain their field. The flood waters is not only damaging the road surface but as none of the drains are working. (Not maintained) the flooding g is continuing on to woore Rd causing major flooding. Last night a car hit the lamp post & damaged same & our hedge row. Luckily the occupants are lucky to be alive. Will it take someone's death for you to take action ? We usually put flood signs up but are not in the country, it is not our responsibility to sort out drainage that ultimately you are responsible for. Please action before it's to late. We are considering legal action as are established garden is being ruined by hgv's & cars forcing all the water onto our property.
