Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6916427.
Walking in a northerly direction along the Public Right Of Way ON FOOT(Congleton FP24) earlier today (31/12/24) I was concerned to see horse hoofprints on the grass to the side of the path, They did not continue past the ginnel to Somerset Close, from which I draw the conclusion that the rider(s) had used this route, which I would expect to be for use solely by pedestrians. This is not the first local example I have come across where selfish horse riders ignore the fact that by using such paths they are potentially putting pedestrians at risk. I request the council to as a minimum put signs at either end of the ginnel (and the similarly placed one at the end of Berkshire Drive) informing people that these linking paths are not for use by horseriders or cyclists.
