Pothole now swallowing cars

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6897463.

Pothole is worsening - we have just spent an hour on Xmas Eve, with the help of a kind passer-by extracting a Fiat 500 from the hole where it was completely stuck. Road is signed as closed but only right on the flood - there are no warning signs, no diversion posted and Google Maps is not recording the closure. The poor driver was lost and following satnav en route to a patient (NHS nurse). Car was completely grounded and had to be carefully pulled out backwards on a tow rope. Rescuers were up to their knees in water which makes the pothole at least a foot / 30cm deep.
