Corner of Station Road, bordering Linden Bank

Reported via desktop in the Hedge/Tree Maintenance category anonymously at 11:21, Mon 14 October 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 6612173.

The hedge is overgrown and encroaches on the pavement. This forces pedestrians to the very edge of the pavement, or onto the gutter whilst wagons swing around the corner. It's an accident waiting to happen. As the footpath is also on a slope at the traffic lights, this makes it very difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Last week I saw a very near miss with an elderly person stepping into the road to avoid the hedge whilst a skip wagon was swinging in.
