The drain here is failing to clear; I've rodded it to a depth of about 1 metre, but it still fails to clear. The outflow must be blocked, and it needs proper clearance. The same problem is affecting the next drain up (by the junction with Crewe Road), but the next drain down Brookland Avenue is clear, so the blockage is somewhere in between. When it rains heavily, the drain overtops and standing water pools on the road.
