There have been numerous reports of flooding at this location, the last one being on 22nd April 2024 In November 2023 this section of Red Lane was closed due to a tree having fallen across the road. It took until 7th January 2024 for the tree to be removed but the road remained closed in order long awaited Jetting work could take place. Due to a closure of Hall Lane Red Lane was re-opened on 12th January as a diversion route. The Jetting had not taken place and still has not been done. After any rain the road floods from the blocked grids. Yesterday 21st April to road was dry, today 22nd April after rain overnight the road has water running along the verge and going across the road in a number of places as can be seen on the photo. Please arrange for this long awaited jetting to be done, giving a completion date which can be passed to the local residents. The report's reference number is 5885154. On 2nd October 2024 you indicate via Fix my Street, We are pleased to confirm that the work in relation to your enquiry is now complete and your report has been closed. State changed to: Fixed. The road was checked on 2nd, 3rd and attached photos taken on 4th October 2024. The road remains flooded water pouring out of the grids. The person responsible for this update has either been given incorrect information or wishes to misinform the public. Please complete the work as requested on 22nd April 2024
