Junction of Dob Lane and Cappers Lane

Reported via mobile in the Flooding category by Alexia Gharagozlou at 17:20, Sat 5 October 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6555554.

There has been standing water here permanently since the awful floods of January 2021. It is only getting worse and contributed to two floods at my neighbours house Broom Butts, CW6 9RP. Rain water runs down Dob Lane to this junction and then has nowhere to go. It is dangerous and awful to drive through. When it freezes this area becomes treacherous. It is standing water and smells and is unhygenic.

There is also sink hole on the left a bit further down Cappers Lane (towards Long Lane). Nothing has been done about it in months. It is dangerous as it goes into a deep open drain.
