Brereton Heath Lane

Reported via desktop in the Carriageway category anonymously at 20:54, Thursday 3 October 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6549447.

The speed limit on Brereton Heath Lane needs to be reduced. This is principally a residential country lane used by children to walk and ride bikes, dog walkers, cyclists and horses. The number of pedestrians to the lake and vending machine has increased in the past few years. The national speed limit is just too fast and cars fly past pedestrians and horses at too great a speed. I am terrified about my children being hit by a fast moving vehicle. As visibility on most of the road is quite good a lot of drivers are irresponsible and travel the road at 60 mph which is dangerous.
