Entire Redhouse Lane but particularly the canal bridge (listed)

Reported via desktop in the Noise or Vibration category anonymously at 10:14, Tuesday 10 September 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6456314.

There has been continued use of Redhouse Lane for the delivery of stone to the railway sidings on Redhouse Lane to use for the Hague Bar railway project. The wagons delivering this stone are mounting the pavements and arriving in convoys. The bridge was not designed to take such heavy loads and this will eventually have consequences to the road and bridge. Please look into this matter as a serious potential issue for the residents of both Redhouse Lane , Cloughside and Waterside Road. The road is already in a very serious state of repair and this usage will surely make the situation worse.
