We take action if a tree is dead, diseased or dying, damaging property, or blocking safety signs or lamp columns. The tree at this location does not fall into any of these categories and so we will not be taking any action at this time. We will continue to monitor this location through our routine inspections and will take action in future if necessary. The enquiry has been assessed and does not present a risk to highway users at this time.
We deal with defects based on the level of immediate risk. We keep all Cheshire East adopted roads and highway assets safe through our routine safety inspections. All inspections are conducted in line with our Code of Practice for Highway Safety Inspections which is available on our website via the link below:
