Front the junction of Springbank Road and Brookledge lane going up towards Pott Shrigley, just before and just after the Pott Shrigley sign

Reported via mobile in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 18:18, Sunday 25 August 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6397158.

There are 3 grids blocked with mud between the junction of Springbank Road/Brookledge Lane going up the the junction of Brookledge Ln and Shrigley Road. We have tried to clear them but they are blocked solid with mud. The issue is that there is a lot of water that comes down this hill and the road regularly floods. This round is now very busy with cars cutting through to the new road from Kettleshulme. It’s been like this for months and months but I am concerned as we approach autumn, leaves are falling and it gets wetter. The gutters need to be clear.
