Top of Rood Hill where it meets Clayton Bypass

Reported via mobile in the Carriageway category anonymously at 15:42, Wednesday 7 August 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6328495.

We need a 'controlled zone' with yellow lines in the space where Rood Hill and Clayton Bypass meet. Rush hour is hell because cars going down Rood hill (from Tesco side) go on late amber's and block the road going up so no cars can turn right and have to wait until the next set of lights. It's becoming a huge issue and it's going to cause an accident. The controlled zone needs to work that if anyone goes in it they get fined.

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
