From Macclesfield Rd roundabout to Vardon Bridge
Reported via desktop in the Footway category anonymously at 17:01, Monday 29 July 2024
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6290160.
Entire footway from Macclesfield Roundabout to Vardon Bridge along Adlington Road is obstructed by overgrown vegetation, leaving pedestrians with no option but to walk/run on the road. The fast moving nature of traffic here, along with blind corners is very dangerous, and I have had near misses as both a pedestrian and a driver. Almost the entire length of Adlington Rd on both carriageways is extremely overgrown and needs cutting back.

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
