Overgrown nettles taking over pavement (Manchester Road, Tytherington)

Reported via desktop in the Weeds category anonymously at 16:40, Sunday 21 July 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6256852.

Weeds (mostly nettles) have taken over large sections of the pavement at the side of Manchester Road in Tytherington in the direction heading towards Macclesfield town centre. Worst of it is about 50 yards from the petrol station (opposite side of the road to the petrol station). Have no choice but to step into the road because these are nettles not normal weeds. Busy road with blind bends so not so easy to simply cross to other side of the road to avoid them. These need trimming back/removing as it is dangerous at this point.
