Infront of 246 buxton road
Reported via mobile in the Lining category anonymously at 12:02, Wednesday 17 July 2024
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6240628.
We had the road resurfaced a few weeks back and new white lines put on the road. Directly outside my house there used to be around a 2.5 metre space with chevrons in to say no parking since it's been relined it's a car parking space all the way up. As we have parking behind the houses we have to cone down the passage way and out onto the main A6 with the chevrons gone cars park right upto the edge which makes it impossible to get out. I have had a few near misses as you have to pull out quite far to even see what's coming and with oncoming traffic approaching at 30mph I have nearly lost the front end of my car a few times. We need the no parking zone put back in so we can see to exit the passageway onto the main A6
