As you approach the traffic calming measure from Congleton road direction

Reported via mobile in the Conditions of Signs category anonymously at 13:55, Friday 5 July 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6195200.

Thank you for replacing the missing keep right sign.

I have a query about the sign used as it does not have any reflective material on the rear of it and it is made of black plastic. This means as you approach from the Congleton Road direction at night there is no visible warning that the road narrows due to an extended kerb at this point. I notice that when the same thing occurs further along the road after it changes to Wallhill lane that the traffic calming measure there, that also narrows the road using an extended kerb, has a keep right sign that has reflective yellow markings on both sides of it.

Please could you consider adding some reflective material to the rear of the keep left sign so that it is visible.

This could be very dangerous (and incredibly costly if someone was to hit it)
