Section between the corner and Haddon Farm

Reported via desktop in the Carriageway category anonymously at 11:12, Wed 3 July 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6185801.

Severe deterioration of the entire road surface. This has slowly happened since 2019. If on two-wheeled vehicles, only a small section of smooth road is available in the center of the lane, which causes a dangerous situation if going up the hill and another vehicle is approaching head-on because there is a blind summit. If cyclists are descending, it is almost impossible to control speed and slow down enough for the sharp left corner. I have also witnessed vehicles losing some control on the way down and going to the right of the lane and into oncoming traffic coming round the bend at speed. Ideally, this whole section would be resurfaced.
