The grid here and another one around the corner on Riverside Crescent are over grown with weed's. The weed's are also all the way down the road/footpath

Thank you for your enquiry. Following a review on cost and effectiveness of weed spraying, we are not routinely spraying weeds on the highway. Instead, we review requests for treatment of weeds in channels, at the top of kerbs, in footways / alleyways (bordering a wall or fence), footpaths and link paths. As your request does not meet the criteria, no further action will be taken at this time.
We will continue to ensure the location is safe through our routine safety inspections which are conducted in line with our Code of Practice. More information is available on the following link:
