Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6123815.
Tree roots from Gerberit site growing under footpath make it difficult and dangerous for the elderly, partially sighted and wheel chair / mobility scooters to use. In places roots are in excess of 20cms above the natural line of the path so creating a physical obstacle that is uneven and slippy in wet weather. In the past tarmac has been used to smooth out the ridges but as this crumbles it slips underfoot. The problem is getting more serious as tree growth continues unchecked.
