Lay-by not far from High Peak School

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 12:58, Friday 14 June 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6108045.

There are a number of potholes at this lay-by that have been here for months. On this instance I was travelling from Macclesfield to Disley on my way home from collecting my daughter from school passing the lay-by as a car in the other direction was waiting to turn into the lay-by. I was unable too avoid the large pothole therefore hit it causing my tyre to immediately deflate. This left me stranded with my child at the side of the road with little if any reception to ring for help in a very dangerous area.
