Manchester Road between Lomas Way and Walfield Avenue
Reported via mobile in the Flooding category anonymously at 07:36, Monday 27 May 2024
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6023634.
Everytime it rains the pavement is dangerous due to the amount of flooding on Manchester Road. As a pedestrian you end up getting soaked due to tge selfish behaviour of drivers. This problem is quite recent and I suspect it is due to either the drains being blocked or the housing developments not having sufficient drainage. Please can you look into this and until it is fixed put up barriers around the flooding to prevent any further flooding of the pavement and those walking.

We deal with gullies based on the level of immediate risk. We have assessed this location and it is not considered to present an immediate danger to highway users at this time. We are due to empty the gullies here as part of our routine programme in the next 12 weeks. This means we will not attend before the scheduled visit unless there is an immediate threat to life or the inside of property. You can find out the scheduled visit date by visiting our website: https://cheshireeast-gully.report-it.uk/ public/
