A50 Love Lane Junction Three Little Words "gratuity.embodied.cape"

Reported via Android in the Pothole category anonymously at 17:18, Thursday 23 May 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6012837.

This is a sunken man hole. It is that bad is is visible on Google Maps. I can't take a photograph as the junction is too busy. The manhole has sunk about 150mm. I regularly cycle along this stretch and this junction is terrifying. I have a trailer on my bike as I have to take my assistance dog with me where ever I go.

If you hit this hole on your bike alone you would probably be dismounted and significant damage to your bike. I fear that having a trailer with my dog on the back will lead to a severe accident harming an animal that gives me freedom and support.

Cyclist often struggle cycling around this due to the volume of traffic. It is an accident waiting to happen. Cars often swerve around this due to the damage that is likely to be caused due to a car driving through such a harsh defect.
