Within the verge just past Gallantry Bank House

Reported via desktop in the Flooding category anonymously at 11:22, Monday 22 April 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 5883797.

This problem has existed for a while. Whilst I appreciate the generic 'we will schedule a visit' response, I would like someone to actually visit the site and make a proper assessment. The gully system here is completely full and the manhole (on the pin) is overflowing with water. This steady flow is eroding the carriageway surface and causing very slippy conditions which is a danger to the public. I appreciate you are busy but please could someone investigate to instigate further action. Thanks

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
