Uphill approach’s in both directions to railway bridge

Reported via iOS in the Pothole category anonymously at 11:10, Thursday 11 April 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5838349.

The roadway approaching and leaving the railway bridge is completely breaking up on both sides of the bridge parallel to the traffic lights. There are elongated “trenches” NOT potholes approximately 4 to 5 feet in length and up to 3 inches deep on both sides of the bridge. This is extremely dangerous and nearly caused a head on collision today with an HGV vehicle
