Blacken Lane near junction with Salters Lane, Lower Withington, Sk11 9LL
Reported via desktop in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 15:42, Mon 8 April 2024
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5824758.
Road drains are not draining away due to presumed blockage in the pipework leading from the drain to the drainage culvert. Results in near permanent flooding of the road - has been a problem for over 6 months (previously reported ref no 5133974). While gullies are partially silted the problem is not blocked gullies but blockage in the drain system (very slow trickle visible from drain into culvert even though road flooded). Flooding causing damage to verges at front of our and neighbouring property and also to the driveway entrance to our property. Also potentially responsible for blocking the drainage of rainwater from our properties.
