Manchester Road, at junction with Homestead Drive and between Homestead Drive and Moss Lane
Reported via mobile in the Slurry or Mud on the Highway category anonymously at 15:07, Monday 8 April 2024
Sent to Cheshire East Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 5824517.
All drainage manholes appear to be completely blocked along Manchester Road between Homestead Drive and Moss Lane. Road often floods and debris, mud and sludge runs down hill from Moss Lane area and collects near crossing at Homestead Drive. This crossing already dangerous as visibility limited when crossing Manchester Road towards Homestead Drive. Try to avoid getting knocked down from speeding cars while also trying to avoid getting drenched from the water collecting on the road, or slipping in the mud. Not sure how those in a wheelchair or pushing a pram cope at this crossing but it can’t be easy and certainly not safe.
