Flooding Due to historic ditch being filled in

Reported via desktop in the Carriageway category anonymously at 21:28, Sunday 7 April 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5820903.

There is a brick culvert under the road to what is now King fisher cottage garden which was previously a pony paddock. The dich had been filled in at Kingfisher cottage and the water level has been raising year on year. The road is now damaged and consistently flooding \. This also took water from dragons lane. From the 1970s to 1990s I hand dug these ditches when my parents owned Oak house. Happy to meet on site to find the culvert.
