SK10 4QP, Wilmslow Old Road

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 08:27, Monday 1 April 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5789442.

Sunken drain cover, the picture I have uploaded is google maps from 2 years ago to help locate it but over the last 12 months or so the drain cover looks to have sank more. It is a popular route for cyclists, it is downhill so people will be approaching it at speed but they will also likely be trying to keep left due to the bend in the road and to avoid oncoming traffic on a narrow road, the drainage cover is situated 2 foot from the near side of the road so it is right in the line that someone on a bike would use. If you scroll up the hill on google maps (south) you actually see a cyclist on precisely that line.
