Street light has been out for over two years and I’m being told that there are still no plans for it to be repaired and that it will be included in a ‘future programme’. This street light is covered in rust from top to bottom which demonstrates the lack of maintenance. A street light on this same road only a few hundred yards up the hill fell over in October in strong winds and could have seriously hurt someone if it fell into the road. Luckily, it fell backwards instead of forwards and missed the road and footpath. This was only down to pure luck and wind direction, it could have been a different story if it fell into the road. This street light is the same type of column and needs repairing properly please as it is leaning back and is clearly very rotten by the amount of rust. This dip also floods regularly and you cannot see the flood water clearly without this street light, making it even more dangerous. Have these street lights been structurally tested since one fell down on its own in the wind last year? Please repair as this is a safety concern. Thank you
