Between Oak Tree Farm and Sevenoaks

Reported via desktop in the Flooding category anonymously at 14:46, Sat 23 March 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5756779.

This flood has been here since mid-October. It is never less than ankle deep and it never disappears during a dry spell. When vehicles drive through it a wave of muddy water washes down the road depositing mud and silt over the carriageway causing a skid hazard. some drivers choose not to drive through it but then face a difficult reverse to find somewhere to turn round on this single track road. This is a well used road by walkers, cyclists, horse riders as well as cars, vans and lorries. All road users are experiencing problems with the road condition here. On December 15 2023 I was sent an email (attached screenshot) to say that the gullies would be cleared in the following 12 weeks and that the flood would be dealt with as a part of this. This time has passed and there has been no action.
