Action scheduled
Junction on Bomish Lane and Cross Lane
Reported via mobile in the Conditions of Signs category by Stephanie Edge at 11:11, Sat 16 March 2024
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5721898.
The road signs on Cross Lane at the junction for Bomish Lane are in poor condition. I had a car accident on 14.03.2024 where the other road user who crossed over the junction on Cross Lane did not see the give way sign and crashed into my vehicle. There are no road markings at the junction to make road users who are not used to this junction aware of the danger. The give way sign should be replaced with a ‘Stop’ sign and markings should be in place. There are numerous accidents at this junction each year, and the council don’t seem to be doing anything to make it safe.
