Potholes Merelake road just past the junction with Audley road

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 15:23, Monday 19 February 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 5600162.

I live on Merelake road. I have twice got my wheel stuck in one of the larger potholes and struggled to get out. Yesterday my disc was damaged. Generally I have a rough idea of where to avoid but after heavy rain it is impossible to navigate around them. I am having to drive now to the Talke end even going to Alsager which is not good for the environment. If an electric car damages it's battery the cost of repair would be huge. There is a great deal of surface water and unfortunately the usual fixes last a few months at best.
