On the triangle of land opposite to the entrance to Tytherington School

Reported via desktop in the Hedge/Tree Maintenance category anonymously at 15:39, Sun 18 February 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5594794.

There is a dead tree. Over the last year or so branches have dropped off it. It is dangerous because the pupils walk under it every day. The remaining branches need cutting off and possibly the whole tree cutting down. So that there isn't an accidental.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.

  • We have assessed the issue and it needs to be inspected by a qualified arborist. The time it will take to carry out the inspection will depend on the priorities of the arborist. We will update your report once we have more information.
