Ground alongside pavement from park entrance to service station

Reported via desktop in the Litter and Bins category anonymously at 00:01, Tuesday 13 February 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5569035.

Today I spent time removing bottles , tin cans , plastic bags ,silver paper ,etc from the plants growing along the pavement on both sides of Queen park drive . I cannot reach most of the litter as the growth ,ie plants need a huge cut back i.e to be heaviky pruned please . The cans etc are also too high up bank but cannot reach as the branches etc are overgrown and grown over the litter in the past two or three years .Please remove the white heavy wood planks that have been there for past two years ,when I moved to Crewe. The best bin of all is the one opposite the park entrance ie in the car park . It as a yellow plastic bag and is highly visible There is seldom litter around it so may we have another one on the way up toward the petrol station . Many folk buy take out food and throw their containers in the growth so a bin may train the eye ? People buy a take out meal from Morrisons garage shop ,drop or throw it into the vegetation all the way down the road ,They throw it through the metal fence too so that I cleared on Sunday and today but from the inside of the park . I really would appreciate your help . Thank you
