Abbey Road, Sandbach. When turning into Abbey Road from Middlewich Road towards Hind Heath roundabout.

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 07:55, Saturday 10 February 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5556915.

Between Deans Lane and Fieldfair Way. Huge pothole measuring around three foot across and seven inches deep. This pothole has been there for a long time. It has been previously reported and repaired, but the repair quickly failed and it has again been there for a long time. The pothole is due to blocked drains which have also been reported, but remain blocked. Unfortunately I was unable to avoid the pothole due to its enormous size and oncoming traffic, plus it cannot be seen at night. It has badly damaged my wheel and tire.
