Highcroft Ave, 20m from junction with Edinburgh Road

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category by Cllr Kay Wesley at 11:20, Sun 4 February 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5529759.

The road surface has broken up completely here, as reported previously. But now a deep pothole has opened up. I drove into it in my car and almost damaged my wheel. This is very dangerous for cyclists and those in smaller vehicles. However, it probably needs a resurface of this section rather than just patching the pothole, as there are a great many other cracks and small holes. This is a major thoroughfare for everyone living in Bromley Farm estate and should be fixed as a matter of urgency please!

This report is now closed to updates from the public. You can make a new report in the same location.

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
