Column 70- Damaged for 4 Years!

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5519167.

I cannot quite believe I have just received an email saying “We have assessed the issue and added it to our improvement programme for repair over the longer term. This means we are unlikely to do any improvement work here during the current financial year.”

This street light was damaged before the Coronavirus Pandemic at the start of 2020! Four years and I’m seriously still being told it won’t be being repaired any time soon? More to the point, the report should not be taken down for it to just get forgotten about again. Council tax in the area is astronomical so it should not be taking more than four years to repair one street light. This really isn’t acceptable unfortunately. This lack of care would not happen on the other side of Wilmslow on the South side. Please reconsider that the street lighting on this side of Wilmslow needs more attention. Thank you
