Bottom of higher lane, Kerridge

Reported via desktop in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 15:35, Thu 4 January 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5394100.

The drain opposite Dawson Farm has suffered extreme rain, and the drain cannot take the amount of water into culvert. The drain nearby at bottom of higher lane, Kerridge is silted up and cannot take excess water, which is now flooding the road, and causing a river to run down oak lane. This is extremely dangerous, as it is on a blind bend, and narrow lane, and if it freezes, it could cause a fatality. The drains need emptying of silt along oak lane.
